Well, well, well. Yes, I know all my pictures are gone. ImageShack ate them. I'll get around to replacing them, I suppose. If anyone knows of a better image hosting site that isn't PhotoBucket, please tell me about it. If not, I'll just get around to getting the pictures back up on ImageShack.

I know I haven't updated in a long time, but I'm simming again, and although I'm not going to give a timetable for withdrawal the next chapter, the update WILL happen! Sorry about the wait and sorry that the archive is gone.

Okay, I normally would not make this public, but copperbadge requested it, after it got to him through a friend of mine (aura218). I got a little bored between shoots and wondered what it would look like if Sirius and Remus had children... Oh yeah, one not work safe picture because I'm on crack.

Sorry it took so long. I've had this shot for ages. At least it's a long one, so it's almost worth the wait, right? And almost everything is lifted verbatim from the story; I guess I just don't believe in paraphrasing. And this time it seems I really took a picture per every couple lines, especially in the first scene. I need an editor.

Hello everyone, time for another installment. This time it's Quidditch, which wasn't nearly as difficult to shoot as I expected! Altogether a fairly painless chapter. As always, I didn't write it, Stealing Harry is copperbadge's and Harry Potter is JKR's.

So, I'm finished shooting chapters eight and nine, and they just have to be organised and coded. Here's a window into my madness: I took 884 shots for chapter nine.

Speaking of, chapter nine contains that scene where Remus and Sirius use the pensieve to peek in on Remus' dreams of the Shrieking Shack. So, you know what that means.

Also, before shooting this chapter, I put in a hack that messed up my lighting. I've since put it back the way it was and future chapters won't look as ...weird.

Sorry for the long wait. I had this chapter nearly ready to go right before Pets came out last month, ready to shoot the scenes with Padfoot in and get it out. Unfortunately, I didn't factor in the time I would have to wait for the Insimenator to get updated, and it was essential to get Padfoot to Sandust, unfortunately. But, I've since finished this chapter and also the next, which should be up tomorrow or the day after...

So, as usual, I didn't write Stealing Harry, go tell copperbadge how awesome he is. Enjoy! As a side note, quite a few of these pictures are animated. So, watch out for that. Maybe wait a few seconds staring at them.

Chapter Five, here it is. This chapter is also known as "Remus has Lost His Pencil! Where did it go?" I may do outtakes from the last three chapters after this, as well as a credits post where I identify the sources of my downloads. This chapter, I have a bloody Remus top which I need to credit. I made it because I couldn't find a bloody top with no clothing. However, the actual wounds are from KiaraRawks at Mod the Sims 2. I took the alphas from her bloody face masks. So, I'm not going to be redistributing it.

I didn't write Stealing Harry or Harry Potter, copperbadge and JKR did. As with all chapters, there is some verbatim copying, maybe more with this one, simply because I seem to have taken a picture for every two lines. Oh well. On with the chapter!

So, these aren't outtakes. I don't really have a lot of outtakes for Chapter 4, as Remus talking endlessly about goldfish and elephants is only sort of funny. But they are extended scenes, if you will. They're rather depressing, mostly shots of Sirius finding Hagrid with Harry. I like the shots a lot, but I had to limit myself to using the ones I did. Also, the final picture of the sequence is Remus hugging Sirius, which I felt was completely appropriate for the situation, but not the story. I really like that picture, so I'm sharing it.

Here's the next part of Stealing Harry Sims, Chapter Three, and this time it only took a week instead of nine months! It turns out that each chapter doesn't have to be like an act of giving birth. Although this one was certainly painfully uncooperative enough to perhaps draw comparisons. Hopefully it's better than the last, though and I'll stop having technical difficulties to the point that it won't take three full days to do a chapter. < /complain >

When you shoot a sims story based on a source, you usually have specific instructions to work from. Unfortunately, the sims don't always feel like cooperating. I took about 200 shots for Chapter 2. The ones in this batch of outtakes weren't usable, for obvious reasons, but some of them are funny and others are interesting, at least.

Oh, nearly a year ago, I posted the first chapter of Stealing Harry, reenacted using The Sims 2. After a new computer, two expansion packs, much planning and procrastination, Chapter Two is finally finished! Amazing, eh? The quality is much better than Chapter One, as a reward for your patience (and because of the aforementioned new computer). Also since Chapter One, Sirius got a haircut. Because I didn't like that he and Remus had the same stylist.

As with before, Stealing Harry is not mine, it's copperbadge's. Harry Potter is not mine, it's JKR's. Don't sue, I asked Sam's permission, et cetera. As with before, I may crib some dialogue directly from the source material, simply because I don't write as well as Sam and I don't want the story to lose too much impact.

This chapter ended up being very long, with a picture count of 47. If you have dialup, this may tax your computer a bit, but then again, most things probably do and you're used to it, right? The individual file sizes aren't too large, by themselves. If enough of you want this broken into two parts, that can be done, just ask.

It's not even JKR's (though the characters are). The story is copperbadge's and I'm doing this merely as an homage to it. It's my very favourite fanfic, and if you're a fan of Sirius/Remus and you haven't read it, what are you waiting for? I'm going to crib some of his words verbatim (because I couldn't do nearly as well, so I won't try) and paraphrase other bits, just so you know.
